I am stronger than arthritis!

I was diagnosed with Systemic Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis in July of 2002. Systemic JRA is an auto-immune disease that affects the body’s joints and internal organs. I am very lucky because I have not taken any medicine and have shown no signs of Arthritis since April 2008. I am in third grade, participate in many sports, and love hanging out with my friends.
Even though my Arthritis is gone I still remember what it was like. I am continuing my fight against this painful disease because I want to help other kids with Arthritis be pain free. I am very thankful for everyone that raises money for research and the development of new medicines. I know first hand the miracles that can happen.
